Waynetown - Mrs Ruby Jewell Beck Martin, 56, resident of this community for the past 21 years, died at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday at Culver Hospital. She had been ill for several months. Born Sept 9, 1905 in Kentucky, she was the daughter of John and Sudie Beck. She was married May 12, 1925 to Oval R. Martin at Moss, Tenn.
Mrs. Martin was a member of the Waynetown Methodist Church. She was secretary of the Wesley Home Economic Club and belonged to the Amici Club.
The survivors include the husband; a son, John R. Martin of Oak Park, Ill; a daughter, Mrs. Wanda Jewelene Lahr of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Olene Davis of Frankfort and a brother, Ray Beck of Leitchfield, Ky.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. - kz
